  • Detail Itinerary
    • Day one Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2800m)

      Trekking time: 3 to 4 hours

      We drive to airport early in the morning to take our flight to Lukla. The 35 minutes flight to Lukla provides the view panorama peaks such as  Langtang, Rolwaling and Annapurna and Everest Himalayan Ranges.  After flight walk along the Sherpa village, green vegetations and high cultivations. After walking for some hours through scattered villages and yak herder's camps will lead us to Phakding. Overnight at Phakding.

    • Day two Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

      Trekking time: 6 to 7 hours

      After breakfast trek will start from Phakding. We will cross suspension bridges over Dudh Koshi River around five times. We can have view of some exotic mountain such as MT Thamserku, Langtang, Rolwaling and Annapurna himal. We, then climb up to Namche Bazaar with Everest views along the climb through the Pines forest and alpine flowers. Encountering the first view of Everest from Top Danda, we trek uphill for the next ninety minutes through pine forest to Namche bazaar overnight stay at Namche.

    • Day three Namche Bazaar- Rest and Acclimatization day

      Full day rest and day hike because rest day during trek means to hike to higher elevation and trek down back for proper acclimatization. Explore to Khumjung, Thomo or Khunde village above Namche bazaar. Namche Bazaar, itself is a tourist shopping hub with all the required trekking and mountaineering clothing and equipment. Overnight stay at Namche. 

    • Day four Namche Bazar to Dole (4040m)

      Trekking time: 6 to 7 hours 

      After visit around the Namche area, we follow on the gradual trail with few short up and downs overlooking magnificent view of the great giant snow peaks walking gradual alongside and views with High Mountains. After Sanasa, climb to Mong La 4010m and then down to Phortse Tenga. The day’s trek involves a long tiring uphill trek through the forest of pines, oaks and rhododendrons all the way to Dole for overnight stay.

    • Day five Dole to Machhermo (4400m)

      Trekking time: 4 to 5 hours

      After the breakfast, we climb up for thirty minutes on an open hill to the scenic ridge above the Dole. Walk along the Alpine meadow with Yaks and alpine High land Birds and flowers with Mt Cho Oyu (8153m) view. Take a short break at Luja, we continue the trek

      that climbs up along the side of the valley high above the rivers. We reach Machhermo for another night stay. 

    • Day six Machhermo to Gokyo (4800m)

      Trekking time: 3 to 4 hours

      Our destination is to go Gokyo Lake. One hour trek on the trail, through elevated grazing lands takes us to Phanga. At Phanga we observe the memorials of people who lost their lives during the avalanche or climbing period in the region. After passing this beautiful ridge, we will get to first lake then the Second Lake than third Lake of Gokyo Lake. It is surrounded by mountains. Then we will check in gokyo lodge guide will choose to spend the beautiful night. 

    • Day seven Gokyo to Gokyo Ri (5357m) Fifth Lake (5,215m)

      Trekking time: 5 to 6 hours.
      Full day adventure activities or choose one of them.

      After breakfast you will start you’re another full day exploration day from Gokyo Ri hike for magnificent view of dozens of snow cap peaks surrounding the Everest range and many more. After taking picture on the Gokyo Ri top you will walk down to your lodge for lunch or snacks than if you still have energy to hike to another beautiful lake the fifth Lake of Gokyo valley. Before going check your water bottle with enough water and have some cookies and chocolate with you. From the Fifth Lake you can see spectacular view of Mt Everest (top of the world). The 5th lake is also popular for the views of North and South slopes of Everest. After visiting here you will head back to your lodge for another night stay at Gokyo.
       

    • Day eight Gokyo to Dragnag (4700m)

      Trekking time: 3 to 4 hours
      After breakfast trail will lead towards to Dragnag for another beautiful night stay at high altitude ascending point.  Trails will leads through the Ngozumpa Glacier up and downhill trail with yak grazing lands than to Dragnag for overnight stay. 

    • Day Nine Dragnag to Dzongla via Chola Pass (5363m)

      Trekking time: 7 to 8 hours 

      This day is harder day than other days because of high and climbing up and high passes. So we walk carefully during our journey before passing chola there is big rocky hill sometimes rock can fall dawn so you have to watch out. Trek will begin along the rocky trails and glacial moraines to the top of the pass. Walk uphill to the top of Cho La Pass (5363m) rewards us with the superb views of Cho La Lake and Mt. Cholatse. Then descend from the pass along the slippery icy trails and glaciers walk brings us to Dzongla. with super tired of adventure trekking day. It makes you baby sleep after adventure day. 

    • Day ten Dzongla to Gorakshep( 5,160m)

      Trekking time: 5 to 6 hours

      After breakfast, trek will start toward to Labuje taking easy downhill for a while and few up and down walking leads to Lobuche for lunch and after hot lunch you will start another few hours to Gorakshep Everest base camp and Kalopatthar’s gate way village. From where you can decide to go which one is your priority to go first you can talk with your travel guide. Before going to bed

    • Day eleven Full day excursion day

      Everest  Base (5360m) Kalapatthar (5,550mtr.) and Labuje (4930m)

      Trekking time: 7 to 8 hours

      Early in the morning you will climb gradually uphill to Kalapatthar for the sunrise view of Mt. Everest including Mt Pumori, Lingtren, Khumbetse, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku along with many more.

      Then you will walk back to lodge for breakfast. Right after the breakfast you will start next journey to Everest Base Camp. Where you will see super nice view of glacial moraines extended from Khumbu Icefall with the colorful tents of Expedition Groups in main season for climbing. Then you will walk back to lodge to have food and you can decide stay there or trek to Labuje for overnight stay. 

    • Day twelve Lobuje to Tengboche (3870m)

      Trekking time: 5 to 6 hours
      From Lobuje you will descend to Pheriche village where you can have your lunch and continue to your destination by crossing the bridge and Sherpa village along the way. It is a long but easy way down to Tengboche Monastery where you can see evening ceremony of Buddhist culture. And one of the best another Everest view point where you will spend the night stay with good food.

    • Day thirteen Tengboche to Namche (3440m)

      Trekking time: 5 to 6 hours

      After breakfast trek will descend through the rhododendron and juniper forest and you will drop down to Dudhkoshi gorge river and after crossing river trail will climb up through the pine forest. Sometimes you may see the color full our national bird phasent and mountain goats. And slowly you will reach sanasa Sherpa village from here you can see more views as Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse and many more magnificent mountains. From here trail will gradually leads you towards to Namche bazaar junction of different way trekkers come and one of the biggest shopping places it is none as Thamel market of Kathmandu where you can enjoy with many variety of foods.

    • Day fourteen Namche to Lukla (2,800m)

      Trekking time: 6 to 7 hours

      Trek will descend from Namche until the Dudhkoshi River through the pine forest and you will cross Dudhkoshi River (Milky River) over the suspension bridge. And you will reach to Jhorsalle your final trekking permit check post.
      From here approximately 3hrs to lukla your last destination of this trek where you can enjoy with many variety of food and drinks your most of the trekking crew are staying here so you can buy food and drinks to them to say thank you and you can give them tip including thank you. And go to bed for the super nice sleep after all muscle ache trek.

    • Day fifteen Lukla to Kathmandu

      Flight times: 35 minutes

      After breakfast you will informed by your Travel guide to check in Lukla domestic airport to fly to Kathmandu. Sometimes flight will delay because of weather condition. Grab some bread from bakery and wait until weather is clear when your flight will take of you will enjoy flying after long journey. We will be waiting on your arrival in Kathmandu with private transport and drive to your hotel where you can take shower, choice of food and massage for your body and you are free to enjoy in City life. Until you fly to your destination.

    A flight from Kathmandu to Lukla or vice versa can be cancelled if bad weather persists as it is unpredictable in the Everest region especially during monsoon. In such case you might have to wait for a day or two or you can charter a chopper for around $400 to $600 per person: the price is flexible though according to the situation and requirements and the chopper would operate with the enrolment of five passengers.

     

    Alternative: Everest Base camp  Chola Pass And Gokyo   Treks


    You can hire a jeep and drive to Jubing for about 11 to 12 hours, from Jubing you trek to Lukla. However you may have to extend your trekking days for 3 to 4 days following this option and,

    A walk from Lukla for a day to Jubing and drive back to Kathmandu if you are at the other end.

A flight from Kathmandu to Lukla or vice versa can be cancelled if bad weather persists as it is unpredictable in the Everest region especially during monsoon. In such case you might have to wait for a day or two or you can charter a chopper for around $400 to $600 per person: the price is flexible though according to the situation and requirements and the chopper would operate with the enrolment of five passengers.

 

Alternative: Everest Base camp  Chola Pass And Gokyo   Treks


You can hire a jeep and drive to Jubing for about 11 to 12 hours, from Jubing you trek to Lukla. However you may have to extend your trekking days for 3 to 4 days following this option and,

A walk from Lukla for a day to Jubing and drive back to Kathmandu if you are at the other end.

Daily trekking times will normally be between 5 and 7 hours unless stated

Equipment List

The following equipment lists are suggested and essential for both camping & teahouse treks in the Himalayas. Given this list as a guideline, most of the trekking equipment can be hired or bought in many adventure shops in Kathmandu as well. Besides, keep in mind that trekking gear can be bought in  many adventure shops in Kathmandu, the majority of gear is locally manufactured (hence a lot cheaper) although it is becoming more common for gear to be imported from China and therefore of better quality.
 

Personal needs
The following basic equipment list helps you with your packing. Please, remember that you should always try to keep the weight of your equipments to a minimum level. Before starting the trek your packed trek bag should weigh not more than 33 pounds or 15kg.
