      Unbelievable, tailor-made experience.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Malung Treks' Raj Kumar. I came to Nepal looking for a unique, challenging, culturally-based trekking experience, and was not disappointed. Raj organized a never-done-before, 20 day trip on non-touristic, local trails to the summit of Mera Peak (6,471m). Raj took the time to sit down with me and discuss specifically what I wanted to get out of the trip, and what's more, he made sure I was placed with a guide best suited to my needs. My guide, Bal Kumar, worked with Raj throughout the entire journey to ensure I stayed healthy, happy, and well-informed. From start to finish I was greeted with local hospitality, amazing food, and great conversation. While the route was physically demanding, I felt supported and safe the whole way, without exception. Every detail, from food and lodging to acclimatization, technical training and gear rental, was taken care of in advance so I could focus on the beautiful surroundings. I would 100% recommend the unique style of trekking that Malung Treks offers - a more authentic, intimate, and meaningful trekking experience. I am forever grateful to Raj and Bal Kumar for such an awesome adventure!
