When to Trek in Nepal
Nepal has two main trekking seasons, but there's a trail for every month.
Sep – NovAutumn
Clear skies, stable weather and the best mountain views. Peak season.
Mar – MaySpring
Warm days and rhododendron forests in bloom. Second peak season.
Dec – FebWinter
Cold at altitude but quiet trails. Great for lower treks like Poon Hill.
Jun – AugMonsoon
Rain and leeches on most trails – rain-shadow valleys like Nar Phu are best.
